Access Allow Lists from the Configuration Menu
Adding a URL to allow list means that messages containing that URL will no longer be added to your Threat Feed.
Go to Configure > Allow Lists to open the a screen where you can:
- see a list of all URLS that have been added to allow list using the Threat Feed allow action as well as those added to allow list by Agari.
- add URLs to allow list manually.
Adding a URL to allow list from the Threat Feed
You can add a URL to allow list directly from the URL list in the Threat Feed.
- Go to Analyze > Threat Feed.
- Click on a URL in the URI column.
- Click:
- ...root domain or its subdomains - to add all URLs that contain the root domain to allow list. You might choose this for a shared service domain such as Facebook, where you would want to add your_company.facebook.com to allow list while not adding all facebook.com URLs to allow list.
- ...exact path, excluding the query string - to add only the specific URLto allow list. You might choose this when you know a specific fully qualified URL and path, such as facebook.com/safestuff, is good but you still want messages that contain only facebook.com to be considered for the Threat Feed.
The URL turns green to indicate it has been added to allow list.
